There are some similarities, but essentially the approaches are quite different. The Profusion method focuses more on the present moment, whereas Life Coaching predominantly focuses on the future. Abundance Coaching could also be called positivity coaching or attitude coaching, the approach to life is the way to happiness rather than acquiring status or possessions - 'things' aren't essential for having a fantastic and fulfilling life experience. Happiness comes from within. This doesn't negate the importance of things however. The beauty of this approach is that if you can appreciate the postive aspects of the present moment it puts you in the most empowered place to be able to attract positive (and wanted) experiences for the future. Embrace a philosophy of Abundance rather than Scarcity or Lack and you'll be free to enjoy the most wonderful life experience you could imagine.
Abundance Coaching focuses on appreciating the present moment first and foremost, and from that point you focus on manifesting the experience you want for your future moments. Counselling looks back into the past, normally to uncover the roots of discontent and understand why you feel the way you feel. If you come to this approach with a problem that wants solving, we will discuss the problem in order to acknowledge it and put your situation into context. The primary focus however is the desired condition, this is where you need to focus your attention - on what you want, rather than what you don't want.
If you want to adopt the 3-step solution, the average tends to be three to four sessions with at least a fortnight in between each session to practice using the tools offered for each step. This will give you the opportunity to really understand and adopt the Art of Profusion. If you take the time to integrate the tools into your normal routine, you'll experience rapid results and won't need any further consultations. Consultations can also be carried out remotely which could work better for you if you're on a budget. The only thing that can't be done remotely is Psych-K®

The truth is that there is more than enough in this world for everyone - abundance is the default state of the Universe. There is no better time than now to embrace a philosophy of abundance. Learn the art of Appreciation and be empowered to create the circumstances in your life that you most desire.
Firstly, your illness is only one aspect of you and your situation. You can choose to put your attention on some other aspects - ones that are positive that you can appreciate.
Secondly, Illness, like many other circumstances, is a condition we've created, unconsciously. And illness often persists due to the attention we place on it. Feeling positively or negatively about any situation we're experiencing is a choice. Sometimes it feels more appropriate to feel bad about a situation, because that's how we're conditioned to respond.
There are always positive aspects to every situation at any point in time - eg. you may be housebound with an illness that shows no signs of getting better, and everyone you speak to reinforces that belief, so things seem incredibly dire. However, you do still have your eyesight, access to the internet, the use of your hands, etc. to be able to read this. If you start by appreciating the things that are often taken for granted you'll begin to shift into a more positive place. From there you can more easily focus your attention on being well and then begin the healing process.
Every experience in life has been created through individual and / group energy flow. That isn't to say that everything is morally acceptable, it's just a way of explaining why it is the way it is - in Law of Attraction terms. When we feel good as an individual or as a group we're inviting good experiences, and vice versa.
Many bad things in this world persist due to our attention on it - when you give your attention to something you're giving it more energy. We have anti-war campaigns when it would be better to have pro-peace ones. We talk about endangered species, the starving, someone that's dying of cancer, etc. In our thoughts and words we refer to the unwanted situations. We're conditioned to think it's most appropriate to focus on the terrible and feel really bad, and reinforce that with our words in conversation.
If you're really concerned about all the bad things happening in this world and want to do something to help, visualise the resolved situation rather than the problem. Visualise a healthy economy. Visualise cultures getting on with one another. Visualise that person being healthy, happy, laughing and disease-free. Visualise people in the 3rd world with plenty of food and water, fit and healthy, going to school. Visualise endangered species breeding like crazy (if that takes your fancy), having plenty to eat and being free to roam their natural habitat, etc. Visualise what you want to see and experience in this world, rather than the unwanted situations. And perhaps watch an inspiring and uplifting movie this evening rather than the TV?!

One of the reasons the 'recession' exists is because it was talked about so much, given so much attention, fuelling people's beliefs en masse that it was going to happen. So everyone expected it and guess what, it happened! A self-fulfilling prophecy on a grand scale. Put enough attention on something (and encourage everyone around you to do so too) and it's very likely to happen. We get what we focus our attention on, whether it's wanted or not.
Instead of falling into a state of depression, look for the opportunity for one always exists in a crisis - you just need to know where to look. It's the perfect time to take on an attitude of abundance and practice the Art of Appreciation. Once you start to feel more positive and empowered your experience will change to become, and feel, more positive. If you do this you're also doing everyone else a favour, by taking your attention away from the thing that's unwanted. If we could all do this en masse we could really make a positive difference. Maybe one day we will...
