Kirsten began her professional career in 1997,     aged 25, as an ecommerce consultant working    with large corporate and government clients.       For the next 8 years she took on a number of different roles within the ecommerce and IT Service Management industry, including :     solution architect, workplace trainer, process consultant, BPR consultant, workshop facilitator, engagement specialist and project manager.  She developed a habit of investing a lot of energy into her work, and bought into the ‘work-hard-play-hard’ ethic, often to the detriment of    her health  and personal relationships.

In 2005 she developed ME and discovered she was completely isolated and disconnected from any kind of support network or community – a situation she had unconsciously created.  Being unable to work or have a social life, a long period of solitude and self-reflection followed.  Developing a debilitating illness offered Kirsten a golden opportunity to change, to re-evaluate her life and re-assess what was important.

This became a period of intense personal development where Kirsten studied the Law of Attraction & the effect of thought & emotion, both in creating dis-ease and influencing external circumstances.  She then turned her attention to transforming negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones, and reprogramming her behaviour.  As a result her beliefs and values changed dramatically, she overcame her illness and attracted new and rewarding circumstances into her life.

Kirsten now appreciates all that exists in the present moment and has consciously created a life that is very fulfilling and balanced.

Kirsten also has a passion for writing, music and film.  She has written a novel entitled True Colours, which is due for publication in the next year, and is currently writing a book about the opportunity that illness can provide.  She is also involved with various filmmaking projects.  She feels very strongly about the importance of creative expression and would like to see more positivity and support for all artists in their chosen field.

Kirsten is also trained and qualified in the practice of PSYCH-K™ and leads a business networking group for women.  Please contact her to join or for further information.
