Talking about the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind can be confusing. Often the words subconscious and unconscious are used to describe the same thing.

We create our reality, or our experience,  consciously or unconsciously. Conscious action means by intention, or deliberately. Unconscious action means automatic. An experience that's been created unconsciously can appear to be random or 'out of our control' because it wouldn't have been intentional and is sometimes unwanted.

Unconscious behaviour is led by the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind drives the way we think, feel and act by default (ie. without conscious intervention) and is the result of life-long programming, largely made up of other people's opinions and beliefs.

When it comes to what we view as reality and what we think is possible, our limitations come from the subconscious mind. Often our beliefs don't serve us very well and need updating so we can reach our full potential. Since the subconscious has been programmed over time, and continues to receive new information, it can easily be reprogrammed to alter beliefs and allow someone to extend their potential.

What do you want to achieve in your life time? How do you wish to experience life? Choose the way you want to see yourself, others and your surroundings and then establish beliefs to support your choice.

There are a number of ways to reprogramme the subconscious mind.  Hypnosis is one, Psych-K® is another.  Affirmations and other simple repetitive exercises are other ways you can reprogramme the subconscious without the need to work with a practitioner or facilitator. What you're seeking to do is 'rewire' the neural pathways with different patterns of thoughts and emotions.
